Scholarship & Professional Opportunities

The game of football has found itself developing into a multi million pound business with the structure of football readily changing, the demands on players on becoming greater. Players now find themselves in stakes of financial and emotional turmoil. The Southall FC now represents players in the professional game, from all over the world. We now have the opportunity to offer those youth players of excellence, scholarships are financial assistance to more than fifty of Britain’s finest academic schools . The Southall FC places a high emphasis on the development of a youth player and as a result we now consult far professional teams from all over the world. These teams are finally selected from some of the world’s most comprehensive leagues including, the English Premier League, The Italian Series-A, The Spanish Premier League and The Brazilians National Championship. As part of the Southall FC professional programmed, we can now offer those players of stature, player representation. They will also receive the full backing of our professional team, The team contains highly profiled professionals and includes a Sports Management Team, Financial Partners, Healthcare Consultants, Insurance Brokers, Sports Solicitors and Chartered Accountants. Players in our care will also receive the
backing of our full time coaching staff, Sports therapists, diet and nutrition experts, sports Masseur, Fitness Advisers and Sports psychologists .

Regeneration Football Project

Our programme is one of long term origin , with the project aimed to provide high quality coaching , fitness training , qualification and social education to young people aged fourteen to twenty five years . Our players are involved with the youth justices system , socially excluded or considered to be at risk of offending. Through this it is hoped that the stimulation of constructive and enjoyable physical activities will lead to clients obtaining football association recognized qualifications and training through the open college network , will enhance their prospects o suitable training or employment. The SFC , in conjunction with its partners is making a proactive ground breaking contribution to encourage. Asian people to participate in football. The project operates across the country and is to assist Asian people to gain access to football and benefits from specific levels of participation as outlined below. At grass roots level a structured programme of coaching is provided which is consistent with national curriculum key stage 2/3 requirements within existing physical education lesions. The sessions are constructed in such a way that beginners can learn football skills and techniques in a supportive environment. The football association teaching certificate courses are provided for local teachers .The courses are designed and delivered to increase technical awareness and to generate confidence and enthusiasm to promote football within local schools. By the gaining the football association qualification it actively encourages teachers to be involved in the overall process of progressing young Asian player. The football association mini football centers provide the opportunity to offer structured games, which incorporate game related coaching.

Youth Football Project

The Southall FC youth football project is a unique programme involving the Academy and the local community. The project aims to assist the personal development of local young people with the emphasis on those absent from school and those a risk and offending. the projects reaches thousands of young children, providing opportunities far recreation, high quality fitness training and social education across some of the most deprived areas in the country. Our after school club coaching sessions far both primary and secondary school students, have been set up to combat the trend in juvenile crime immediately after the end of the school day. Children are currently benefiting from the programme from many schools in the country. The coach education programme provides young people aged seventeen to nineteen years with the opportunity to attain football association junior Team managers and football association coaching certificate courses. The Southall FC truancy programme is aimed at young people who are absent from main stream school . The programme has two parts one being academic and other being sporting . the aim is to enhance the young people confidence and self -esteem and to help them to understand the need to play by the rules, both in sport and society . the academic stand is undertaken at the Elite Academy support centre and an introduces numeracy , literacy and computer skills within a football context our full time coaching professionals undertake the football package . A Probation programme allows us to work with the social and education services, the criminal justice system and local authorities. The Southall FC provide football coaching and social education to young people aged to fifteen to nineteen who are involved with the criminal justices system. The programme enables the young people to make constructive choice about the direction of their lives.

The Southall FC holds summer road shows where coaching is provided in partnership with local authority play schemes at local parks, in order to provide young people with assess to football coaching in their immediate neighborhood. Our introduction of girls and women’s football provide young females with an introduction to participation in football as both players and coaches. The football association mini football centers provide the opportunity to offer structured games, which incorporate game related coaching.
