Southall FC is a semi-professional club based in Southall, Middlesex, London Borough of Ealing and currently play in the Isthmian South Central Division, at Step 4 of the non-League pyramid. The team currently play at The 1878 Stadium (Burnham) where we host players, supporters and sponsors. Southall FC was founded in 1871; we are one of the oldest club in the country and celebrated our 150th anniversary for the 2021 - 2022 Season, in which the club was promoted to the Isthmian South Central Division. The first recorded game was played at Southall Park on October 21st, 1871 vs Uxbridge FC. The club is affiliated to the Football Association, the Middlesex County Football Association. Southall FC has been awarded the FA Charter Standard Club status and as part of a commitment towards ‘Community Citizenship’, and will contribute towards the continuous improvement of the community.
Many of our Southall Football Club players have gone on to become full-time professional players and win England International Caps, including Les Ferdinand MBE (QPR, Spurs, Newcastle and England), Gordon Hill (Manchester United and England), Justin Fashanu (Norwich City and England U21) and Alan Devonshire (West Ham United and England). The aspiration of the Club is to return to Southall and to continue the advance through the non- league system, aiming to become a full- time professional club.
On the pitch the season was a remarkable success story of a team that has been assembled over the past 3-4 years by club manager Max Howell. The team achieved success in the Combined Counties League Premier North by securing promotion into the Isthmian South Central League. This is the highest the club has played in the past 30 years, and is the second secured promotion with Manager Max Howell.
